AUTO BODY I (10-12)
This is the first course in a sequence and builds on the knowledge and skills learned in the cluster automotive body technology course. The students’ experiences include hardware, trim, glass, basic metal repair, refinishing, and estimating, as well as body and frame construction. Prerequisite: Successful completion of related cluster course.
AUTO BODY II (11-12)
This is the second course in a sequence and follows Auto Body I. It is recommended for the student who is planning to enter this trade. Instruction emphasizes the development of technical knowledge and skills through simulated on-the-job situations. Students are involved in major metal repair, refinishing, estimating, using trade manuals, and reinforcing previously learned skills. Prerequisite: Auto Body I.
