ELECTRICITY I (10-12)
This is the first course in a sequence that builds on the knowledge and skills learned in the cluster electrical occupations course. Students are involved with experiences in electrical installations, repairing appliances, troubleshooting, maintenance, metering/measuring equipment, blueprint reading, and the utilization of electrical formulas. Prerequisite: Successful completion of related cluster course.
ELECTRICITY II (11-12)
This is the second course in a sequence and follows Electricity I. It is recommended for the student who is planning to enter the electricity trade and/or an electrical apprenticeship program. Students plan, lay out, and install electrical materials and equipment for residential buildings and, to a lesser extent, learn some commercial and industrial application. Prerequisite: Electricity I.
